In the book it was very racist. They (the kids) didn't loke black people. This book/movie was created in the time of segregation so it was allowed to say that nasty word. The book Lord of th Flies wasn't banned everywhere.<br /><br />Toronto school board banned this book in the whole district. It is a classic and why isn't every school banning it. Lord of the Flies was banning it.
